Adam David Rauh Sr. 64 passed away peacefully from his bout with pancreatic cancer on October 31, 2013 at Norton Suburban Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 3, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York, but a lifelong Louisville native and was married to his highschool sweetheart Patricia of 45 loving years and created 7 beautiful children. Adam was a graduate of EKU class of 72, he was a retired insurance broker and owner of Rowdy's Pizza & More. Adam generously donated his time to coaching his 6 sons at Hikes Point Optimist Little League Baseball for 10 years. Adam was a competitive softball player for forty plus years and was a passionate UofL fan and baseball enthusist. He attended numerous concerts with his family and enjoyed all sorts of music.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, seven children; Adam Jr., Al, David, Chris, Jeff, Brian, Jennifer(Jeremy), thirteen grandchildren, one great grandson, brother Joe(Jitka)and sister Dolly(Chad).
The family wants to give a special thanks to Dr. Pat Williams and the ICU staff at Norton Suburban Hospital.
Adam's wishes were to be cremated and taken to his beautiful home on six acres and be near his spacious garden and his loving family.
Visitation will be Saturday November 9, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville,Ky from 2:30-6:30pm with service to follow at 6:30pm.
