Ada Kathryn Couch

Ada Kathryn Couch, age 79, of Fisherville, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2014. She was a member of the Fisherville Church of Christ. She retired as a cafeteria worker from the Spencer County School System with over 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Ethel Pearl Welch Moore; her daughter, Sharon; her grandson, Jayden Austin Patton; sisters, Virginia Higgs and Marie Burns; brothers, A.J., J.P., and Malcolm Moore.

Ada is survived by her loving husband of almost 60 years, John L.; children, Randy Couch (Peggy), Sandy Patton (Rob); grandchildren, Cassie Snyder (Joe), Chelsea and Candice Hogue, Gabriel Austin Patton; great-grandchild, Levi Aiden Snyder; siblings, Vivian Shelburne (R.C.), Mildred Sewell, Betty Brown (Kenneth), Curtis Moore; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral ceremony will be 1:30 pm Sunday, February 2, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with burial to follow in Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville. Visitation will be 4-8pm Saturday at the funeral home.
