Freeman Daisy Emma Ditto, was born June 28, 1947 and passed away December 22, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest "Sam" Ditto and Sallie Frances (Banks) Ditto; a brother, Chester Ditto; and a sister, Ethel Lucille Ditto.
Daisy grew up in Ekron, KY and attended Meade County Public Schools. She earned an Associate Degree in Cosmetology.
In February, 1980, Daisy became a dedicated servant of Jehovah and remained a faithful servant up until her death. Her passion was helping others. She was a devoted caregiver most of her life. Daisy loved cooking, playing cards and frying fish, but most of all, she loved being in the ministry telling others about Jehovah God's promises.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, James; children, Jennifer Freeman, Vance Ditto (Radcliff, KY), Kimberly (Ukama) Cunningham, niece (and daughter of the heart), Cassandra Maxwell (Fayetteville, NC); seven grandchildren, Courtney Freeman, Jordan Bramblett, Destiny Bramblett, Detrick Hatcher II, JaVan Ditto, VaLeia Ditto, ViAsia Bramblett; two great-grandchildren, Jadidah Durham, Claire-Marie Hatcher; sister, Mildred Ditto (Ekron, KY); brothers Claude (Bettye) Banks (Vine Grove, KY), Wesley (Angela) Keys and Lawyer Ditto; adopted sisters Sara (Mike) Young and Majorie Thomas as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home-Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Lou, KY 40272). A Funeral Service to honor the life of Daisy will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Shively Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses (3500 Peleske Drive, Lou, KY 40216).
