Gary Bazemore
November 1, 1954 — March 6, 2012
Gary C. Bazemore, 57, originally from Greenville, SC returned to his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 6, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. and Elizabeth Bazemore, and his sister, Barbara Wright.
Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather, a devout Christian man, a member of Middletown United Methodist Church, a talented artist and a friend to all he met.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 23 years, Wendi Bazemore; sons, Andrew Bazemore and Bryan Federico (Sharon); grandson, Timothy D. Federico; brothers, John A. Bazemore (Kathleen) and Geoffrey Bazemore; a niece, Adrian Leonard (Steven) and nephew, Jason Kerns.
Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. Sunday, March 11, from 1-4 PM. The funeral will be 11 AM, Monday at Middletown United Methodist Church, 11902 Old Shelbyville Rd. with a private burial.
A special, heartfelt thank you to the wonderful staff at Kosair Children's Hospital who worked so hard and cared so much for Gary. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Middletown United Methodist Church Good Samaritan Fund or Kosair Children's Hospital.
