Sara Meeks

Mrs. Sara Jane Meeks, age 77 passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
She was the former personal secretary for Duncan Hines, a member of the Cancer Society
Tea Party, Reach to Recovery, an active member of Southeast Christian Church, where she was in the Harmony Weekend class, the Abigail Circle, Jane's Gang Bible Study, Greeters Committee and the Welcome Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neal Wilson and Lola Potter Wilson, and also a brother, William"Bill"Wilson.

Mrs. Meeks is survived by her loving husband, Mr. B.C.Meeks; a daughter, Kim Meeks Bostic (Bill); grandson Benjamin Bostic; a sister, Irene Thompson; sister in law, Mary Wilson; nephew, Rick Wilson; a niece, Karen Sawyer; and 4 great nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Abigail Circle and Jane's Gang.

Funeral Ceremony will be 11 am Monday at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, Ky., with visitation on Sunday 1-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive in Louisville and after 10am Monday at the church.

Visitation will also be from 4-8pm Monday at JC Kirby Funeral Home, 820 Lovers Lane Bowling Green, Ky., with burial at 11am Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250 Dallas, TX 75244, or charity of your choice.
