Kevin Djuawn Ardis, 34, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2024. In loving memory of Kevin D Ardis, who left an indelible mark on our lives with his unwavering love and profound kindness. He was a devoted father of five, a beacon of strength, and a guardian to all who knew him. With a passion for football, he cheered tirelessly for the Steelers and embraced the Lakers with fervor. His faith was steadfast, as he carried his Bible everywhere, embodying his love for the Lord in all he did.

A gentle giant, he touched the hearts of many with his caring nature, never failing to offer his warmth and security to those around him. On the basketball court, he displayed both skill and sportsmanship, leaving behind cherished memories of his love for the game.

His presence filled our homes with laughter and joy, as he could "eat you out of house and home" with his hearty appetite and infectious spirit. He was a pillar of love and strength, beloved by all who had the privilege to know him. Though he may have left this world, his memory will forever live on in our hearts, a testament to the immeasurable impact of his life. He is now our Guardian Angel.

He was born on April 9, 1989 in Louisville, Kentucky to Roderick and Sherri (Simmons) Ardis. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Montre Ardis, Grandparents, Robert Ardis, Sr., George Jackson, III, Henry Goff, George Shively, and Yvonne Churchill

Kevin is survived by his loving family, Mother, Sherri Ellaine (Troy Sr.) Churchill, Father, Roderick Marcellus Ardis; Children, Jayden Smith, Kayli Ardis, Keilah Ardis, Jarius Ardis, and Kyrie Ardis; Siblings, Keith Martin, Jr., Troy (Kalyn) Churchill, Jr., Donte Churchill, Yakie Churchill, Marcellus Ardis, Rikala (Anthony) Griffith, and Rionna Ardis; Grandmothers, Alice Goff, Paula D. (Jerry Ricketts) Martin, and Lela Shively; Ex-Wife, Tiffany Watkins; Special Friend, Javonna Goldsberry; Best Friends, Jeffery House and Lydell Green, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center, (324 E. Broadway). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, at Kingdom Fellowship Christian Life Center.
