David Aaron Huff, 63, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on January 6, 2024 at Jewish Hospital in Downtown Louisville. He was born on March 21, 1960 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Douglas Huff and Nancy Jean Cook. David was an Over The Road Truck Driver for 26 years and retired in 2021. Earlier in his career he served in the Seabees followed by a 3 year tour on the Coast Guard Cutter, Dependable, serving as a Radar Technician, and was stationed near Pensacola, Florida. Later he worked for Kodak in San Francisco as a Copy Repair Technician. While in San Francisco he was injured and changed career paths to include Tow Truck Driver while he was acquiring his Realtor License. David moved back to Kentucky in the mid 90's. David was a loving father, son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
David is survived by daughter, Sydnee Johnson (Dylan) of Orleans, Indiana; son, Landon Huff; daughter, Brooklyn Huff, both of Jeffersonville, Indiana; his parents, Douglas Huff and Nancy Jean Cook of Perryville, Kentucky; brothers, Stephen M. Huff (Jeannine) of Bristol, Tennessee, Thomas M. Huff (Libby) of Stanford, Kentucky, Timothy W. Huff (Terri) of Lebanon Junction, Kentucky, Jonathan A. Huff (Barbara) of Lexington, Kentucky; sisters, Amy E. Ely of Perryville, Kentucky and Amanda J. Huff of Lexington, Kentucky; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2023 at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive).
