Susan Loraine Compton, 62, of Louisville, KY passed away on October 31, 2023. She was a strong, but loving mother and grandmother. Susan was full of life and very outgoing. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Susan is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Blakey Compton, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Christina Mullins (Cecil), Joe Compton, Jr.; grandchildren, Tiffany (Justin), Christopher, Kaylee, Myles, Rylen, and Jaime; sisters, Sharon and Mary; brother and sister-in-laws, Tammy and Joe, and Gene and Paula; also a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Cremation was selected and the family will have a memorial gathering at a later date.
Contributions in Susan's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
