Ellis Eugene Anderson Jr.

Ellis Eugene Anderson Jr., 89, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Ellis loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He always enjoyed maintaining his property and traveling with his wife. He was a Kentucky Colonel. Ellis will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on February 8, 1934 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to Ellis and Evesta (Rigsby) Anderson. He is preceded in death by his Parents, Ellis Eugene Anderson, Sr. and Evesta Anderson, Wife, Irene Anderson, Brothers, Sherman B Anderson, Wayne C Anderson, Rickie D Anderson, Darrel R Anderson, Sisters, Mildred L Ferguson, Sisters, Linda J Watt and Barbara J Anderson.

Ellis is survived by his loving family, Sons, Ellis (Robin) Anderson, III, Robert N (Christy) Anderson, and Ronald D (Shelly) Anderson; Sister, Wanda "Sue" S Burba; Grandchildren, Ellis (Nicole) Anderson IV, Tyler Druin, Amie (Justin) Schaefer, Ron (Samantha) Anderson, Jr., Courtney Anderson, Savannah Anderson, Cameron Anderson, Dylan (Maya) McWilliams, Mackenzie McWilliams and Many Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
