Amy Beth Embry, 53, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Amy enjoyed genealogy, helping people in need, and most importantly spending time with family and friends. She was a proud member of Northside Church of Christ in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Amy was an Assistant Professor at South Central Kentucky Community and Technical College.

Amy was born on September 28, 1969 in Youngstown, Ohio to Victor and Carol (Gurney) Brumlow. She is preceded in death by her father, Victor Brumlow.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Eugene Embry; mother, Carol Brumlow; sister, Alicia (David) Ward; mother in law, Monnie Embry; brother in laws, Robin (Dawn) Embry and Roger (Rhonda) Embry; and nieces and nephews, William (Nicole) Adams, Amber Black, John Dickerson, and Emma Ward.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with Funeral Service to follow at 1:00 pm. Burial to follow at Lawson Embry Cemetery in Butler County, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Amy's memory be made to SKYCTC Foundation (Attention Heather Rogers, 1845 Loop Drive, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101).
