Ashley Richard Coffey Jr.

Ashley Richard Coffey Jr., 51, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 24th, 2023. Ashley was a wonderful father, brother, and uncle. He took pride in family events. He was selfless even when his health wasn't the best he still did whatever he could to help. He was always supportive and did his best to help his family succeed. He was the glue that held the family together with his pranks and jokes. He graduated from UofL with a Bachelors Degree in Science in 1998. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan who never missed a game. Ashley will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on November 1st, 1971 in Louisville, Kentucky to Ashley and Phyllis (Becker) Coffey. He is preceded in death by his Father, Ashley Richard Coffey, Sr. and Mother, Phyllis Ann Coffey.

Ashley is survived by his loving family, Children, Lauren Rose Coffey and Zachary Richard Coffey; Sisters, Patty (Mike) Bentley and Tonia Coffey; Nieces and Nephews, Christian Bentley, Tony Bentley, Jeffrey Bentley, Joey Coffey, and Hope Coffey; Great-Nieces, Emma Coffey, Kaislee Bentley, and Adrian Bentley; Great-Nephews, Kingston Coffey and Grayson Bentley, as well as a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 31st, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
