Sharon Leigh Puckett

Sharon "Sherrie" Leigh Puckett, 64, passed away on July 5, 2023. She was a geriatrics nurse specializing with Alzheimer and Dementia care. Sherrie took pride in her devotion to her patients and also worked as a liaison to provide the best healthcare for them. She was a loving wife and mother; Sherrie's grandchildren meant the world to her. Sherrie was devoted to her faith and was a member of Valley View Church. She enjoyed dancing, decorating her home and hosting parties.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mary Waters.

Sherrie leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 44 years, Gary Puckett; children, Kelly Kaberle, Kevin (Chasity) Puckett and Kyle (Kari) Puckett; grandchildren, Nolan, Destiny, Colby, Lesandra, Bryce, Kaisley and Macy; siblings, Debra (Charles) Norris, Patricia Bowles and Brian Waters; nephew, James Clark and nieces, Brooke Searcy, Angela Gorena and Jennifer Metro.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm with a celebration of Sherrie's life beginning at 6pm.
