David Anthony Carrion

David Anthony Carrion, age 45 of Louisville, Kentucky joined the Lord on Saturday, June 24, 2023. David was a coach, loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. David had the biggest heart, and friendliest soul. He enjoyed teaching and coaching the game of football, spending time with his loved ones, and his most favorite time of the year was spring, which is Derby time here in Louisville. He was a prideful "Louisvillian", Puerto Rican and UofK fan. David was a firm believer in Jesus Christ and lived by his Christian values. He spread the word of the Lord and made sure everyone felt His presence. David was the type of person that could light up a room. He will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved him.

David was born on November 28, 1977 in Puerto Rico to Janet Alejandro and Sixto Carrion. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Victor Alejandro.

David is survived by his family who was so dear to him, his children, Brianna and Andrew Carrion; his wife, Chelsey Carrion; his mother, Janet Alejandro; his father, Sixto Carrion; his brothers, Michael Carrion, Freddy Garcia, Jonathan Garcia; his grandmother, Maria Alejandro; as well as a vast amount of family and friends that will miss him dearly. David's smile, laugh, and positive impact to the world will always be remembered and cherished.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5pm on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243 with a celebration of David's life to follow at 5pm.
