John Francis Renn

John Francis Renn, 68, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana, to Norbert and Adelaide (Bowe) Renn. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers, George Stanley, Eugene, Paul, and Joseph Renn; and sister, Janet Renn.

John is survived by his siblings, Linda Hunter, Leslie Renn (Beverly), Charlotte Nagle (Bill), Barbara Peay, Polly Franklin (Jim), Randall Renn (Monica), Laura Bowlds (Brad), Carol Renn, and Joy Oglesby; sisters-in-law, Barbara Renn Nicol (Nick) and Rita Renn; stepdaughters, Eliza Chase and Spring Chase; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery in Starlight, Indiana.
