James Stivers

James "Jimmy" Stivers, 72, passed away on March 13, 2023. He loved the Lord and was a man of faith. Jimmy was a concrete finisher and took pride in his work. He was an avid coon hunter. Jimmy loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. He had an infectious smile and never met a stranger.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, JB and Margie and his brother, Johnny Stivers.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 32 years, Cathi Stivers; children, William Brents, Jeanee (Larry) Smith, Scott (Erika) Grant, Jennifer (Scotty) Beeler and Nicole Saling; grandchildren, Autumn, Collin, Joshua, Michaela, Levi and Cooper; great grandson, Carson; siblings, Dolores (Clifford) Ashby, Terri Stivers and Trish Stivers; his four legged companions, Mac and Katie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, March 17, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funeral & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272, from 4pm-8pm with a celebration of Jimmy's life beginning at 6pm.
