Michael James Webb

Michael "Mike" James Webb , 78, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023. Mike was a graduate from DeSales High School in 1962 and served in the Army National Guard. He worked as a wood joiner at Bluegrass Cooperage for over 40 years. He was a member of St. Polycarp Catholic Church and was a dedicated member of the booster club. After the merger he has been a member of St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church where he attended Mass daily. He was an avid Wildcat and Bengals fan, and enjoyed boating on the lake, and spending time with family.

He was born on April 12, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky to Joseph and Mary (White) Webb. He is preceded in death by his Father, Joseph L. Webb, Mother, Mary W. Webb, and Sister, Mary Jo Pullen.

Mike is survived by his loving Wife of 56 years, Susan (Kiefer) Webb; Children, Danny (Chastity) Webb, Paula (Paul) Roederer, and Christopher (Heather) Webb; Grandchildren, Lauren Webb, Aaron Webb, and Maya Roederer; Great-Grandson, Hudson Webb; Brother, Tom (Norma) Webb, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville, Kentucky.
