Mackenzie Cheyenne Lovell

Mackenzie Cheyenne Lovell, 16, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Mackenzie was a fighter with a strong, resilient spirit. From the time she was born, she had a sassy streak that was apparent to those close to her. She was a very lovable little girl, who was cherished by her family. Mackenzie loved movement, listening to music, and the ocean. Despite her diagnosis of cerebral palsy, she was always cheerful. Her smile and laughter was contagious and loved by many. She was truly a miracle, who will be greatly missed.

She was born on December 9, 2006, in New Albany, Indiana, to Ryan and Crystal (Cox) Lovell.

Mackenzie is survived by her loving parents, Ryan and Crystal Lovell; brothers, Brandon and Aiden Lovell; sister, Lillie Lovell; and many other extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to help with funeral expenses.
