It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judith (Judy) Brown, who passed away on February 7, 2023. She was born on July 29, 1942, and was a resident of Louisville, KY.
Judy was a retired nurse, who after retiring, worked as a part-time caregiver and retail associate. She was most proud of her grandsons and was always known for her positive, happy, and loving nature. Her big smile lit up the room and her kind heart will be forever remembered.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Hilda Gerardot, her brother, Joe Gerardot and her children, Sonya Wood, Ted Wood, and Katie Brugh.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Brown, her siblings Jerry Gerardot, Jane Foor, and Jill Merriman (Frank), her daughter Carma Houp (Brian), her grandchildren Sam Franken (Kadi), Mason Witt, Dylan Schwartz, and Gavin Brugh, her great-grandchildren Noah and Maddox and many nieces and nephews.
Judy will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
A private service will be held for family only. The family asks for privacy and for condolences to be sent as thoughts and prayers. Judy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
