Sherry Lynn Perdue

Sherry Lynn Perdue, 60, of Louisville, KY, passed away on January 4, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was an employee of Tech Styles Fashion Group where she loved working very much and made many life-long friends. Sherry was an avid reader; who could easily find herself lost in a book. She enjoyed watching documentaries, binge worthy TV series and crocheting. Sherry loved spending time with her family and dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Sherry had a heart of gold, was slow to judge and quick to love. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chester Perdue; mother, Sylvia Blanton and her brother-in-law, Thomas E. Howard.

Sherry leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Samantha Minyard; son, Walter Minyard; granddaughters, Baylee McGeorge and Rhylee McGeorge; grandson, Alexander Minyard; sisters, Debra Howard and Kelley Hawkins; her four legged friend of 12 years and best buddy, Chewy; several nieces and nephews and a plethora of acquaintances, co-workers and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 3pm-8pm and Sunday, January 15, 2023, 11am - 4pm with a celebration of Sherry's life beginning at 4pm.
