Gary Charles Edwards Jr."Lil Gary" "Lil G", 21, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. Lil Gary enjoyed skate boarding, music, basketball, and playing video games. His most important thing was spending time with family and friends. Lil Gary was loved by so many and had so many great friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.


He was born on June 25, 2001 in Loiusville, Kentucky to Gary and Rebecca (McCarty) Edwards. He is preceded in death by his Grandfather, Charles Robert Edwards, and Grandparents, Beverly & James McCarty.

Lil Gary is survived by his loving Father, Gary Charles Edwards Sr., Mother, Rebecca Edwards, Brothers, Robert Schuler (Megan Lloyd), John Richardson, and Charles Edwards, Grandmother, Carolyn (Wayne) Higdon, Nieces & Nephews, Landon, Lauren, Claire, Chase, and Kenzie, Aunts & Uncles, Rita, Jimmy, Tammy, Jimmy, and Kevin. Lil Gary also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of Cousins, Friends, and Extended Family.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
