Connie Sue (Miller) Mattingly

Connie Sue (Miller) Mattingly, 62, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was a member of First Assembly of God. Connie enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and, more than anything, spending time with her grandchildren.

She was born on May 23, 1960, in Bucyrus, Ohio, to Everett and Joyce (Dix) Miller. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Mattingly.

Connie is survived by her daughters, Christina Miller (Justin Kleis) and Kimberly Embry (Dennis); grandchildren, Michael, Ashley (Tyler Verrick), and Brandon Schuley and Eden and Erik Wirth; great-grandchildren, Ella and Mia Verrick; and siblings, Mike Miller (Cindy) and Brenda Hoffman (Brent).

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 18, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. Her funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Edwardsville Cemetery.
