William George Gannon

William George "Bill" Gannon, 69, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran and retired from Peerless Electronic.

He was born on August 2, 1953, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to George and Jeanette (Chandler) Gannon. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Gannon; and brother, Gordon Morrison.

Bill is survived by his children, Tammy Carnell (Adam), William "Matthew" Gannon, and Paul Gannon; sister, Joyce Lee; sister-in-law, Vickie Morrison; grandchildren, Shawn Cassidy (Steven), Allison Cotton (Ricky), Jenica Miller, James Gannon, Lucy Carnell; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Cassidy, Levi Cassidy, and Laila Cotton.

Bill's wish was to be cremated. A reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with a memorial service and military honors taking place at 3:00 p.m.
