Carl Reed Ossman

Carl Reed Ossman was born in Louisville, Kentucky. He passed away on September 20, 2022, at the age of 88 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 46 years, Joann Miller Ossman. He was the son of Carl Peter and Grace Reed Ossman.
Carl was a graduate of Atherton High School and served in the United States Army from 1957 until 1959. He was an employee and inspector for Cherry-Burrell Company for many years until his retirement in 1996. Carl led a quiet simple life with his wife and family.

Carl is survived by his stepson, Kenneth A. Johnson (Cathy); his step grandson, Craig M. Johnson (Aimee); two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Bobbye Grace McArthur.

A private graveside service will be held for immediate family at Cave Hill Cemetery.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
