John R. Neal, Sr. , 81, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
He was born on January 22, 1941 in Akron, Ohio to Charles and Rose Neal. John was a proud Kentucky Colonel. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and gardener.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Gilliam Neal; mother, Rose Neal; brother, Charles Neal.
John is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Deloris Ann Neal; Children, Sandra K. Breit (Larry), Twila C. Brown, John R. Neal, Jr., and Paul B. Neal; and grandchildren, Asher Brown and Addie Brown.
Services will be private.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Visiting Nurses Association and to Hosparus.
The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions in John's memory be made to the Kentucky Colonel Good Works Program.
