Joseph "Jim" James Rodgers, 77, of Pendleton, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2022.
He was born on April 22, 1945 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Arthur Rodgers and Mary (VanCleave) Wiseheart.
Jim served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War, he worked at the Naval Ordinance for 30 years, and was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church where he was treasurer for over 40 years.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Melody Lee Rodgers, sons; Joseph Brent Rodgers and Jason Bryan Rodgers, grandchildren; Logan, Mia, Andrew, Easton, Presley Jo, Lincoln, Eden and Eva. He is also survived by two sisters Caroline Boone (Tom), Debbie Duncan (Jack), and one brother Arthur Rodgers.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, (1659 Mt Olivet Road LaGrange, KY 40031) with burial to follow at Valley of Rest Cemetery in LaGrange, Kentucky.
