Robert Francis Renn

Robert Francis Renn, 88, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022. He was a talented woodworker and enjoyed growing pumpkins and corn annually in his garden. Bob served in the National Guard. In his younger years, Bob had been a softball coach, played dart ball, and liked going fishing.

He was born on November 1, 1933, in Clark County, Indiana, to Robert and Marie (Klein) Renn. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Chuck Craft.

Bob is survived by his wife of 68 years, Virginia (Rouck) Renn; daughters, Karen Craft (James Boneck) and Betty Crawford (David); grandchildren, Brian Craft (Brian), Kayla Sheckell (Brian), Amber Meenach (Brady), and Abby, Madeline, Patrick, and Gretchen Crawford; and great-grandchildren, Anna, Aly, and Aubree Sheckell, and Raylan Meenach.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and on Thursday after 9:00 a.m. His funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Joe Hill Chapel, 2605 W. St. Joe Road, Sellersburg ) with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
