Eric R. Cook

Eric R. Cook, 44, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Eric was a loving father, devoted son and nephew. He loved doing karate and being outside enjoying nature. Eric will truly be missed by all of his family and friends.

He was born on April 9, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky to Keith and Mary (Heavrin) Cook. He is preceded in death by his Bonus Sister, Jessica Michelle Hargrove.

Eric is survived by his loving family, Mother, Pat (Dennis) Heavrin, and Father, Keith R. Cook; Son, Valin Z. Heavrin; Aunts and Uncles, Tom (Freddie) Heavrin, Gail (Maryann) Heavrin, and Sherry Skelton; Kaylee Burr; Bonus Brother, Robert Ramirez; Bonus Sister, Shanae Clayton, as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 6:00 pm on Friday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.

The family requests that contributions in Eric's memory be made to Suicide Awareness or Drug Addiction.
