Merrita Ann Huddleston

Merrita Ann Huddleston, 81, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Merrita enjoyed reading and loved playing Bingo and was even affectionately known as "Ann Bingo." She retired from Marine Sales and Service in Louisville after many years of employment.

She was born on April 1, 1941, in Letcher County, Kentucky, to the late Luther Yontz and Lilly (Collins) Coslow. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Ervin Huddleston; brother, Richard Yontz; and sisters, Brenda Holbrook and Ina Kay Yontz.

Merrita is survived by her children, Teresa (Paul) Goffner, Shelia Snipp, and Mark (Dawn) Huddleston; grandchildren, Mandy Lilly (Joe Moore), Andrew Trimble (Hannah), Alex Trimble (Amber), Jamie Adamson, Desiree Tudder (Jory), Jesse Grimes (Jessica), Hayden Grimes (Chelse), Ashley Huddleston (Tony Morrison), Aaron Huddleston (Chelsea), and Austin Huddleston (Sarah); and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). Her Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.
