Elizabeth Jewell Dickerson

Elizabeth Jewell Dickerson, 76, passed away on March 30, 2022. She was a member of Fairdale First Baptist Church. Elizabeth enjoyed doing crafts, scrapbooking, going to flea markets and yard sales. She loved having cookouts with her family and friends. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and her family meant the world to her. She will be truly missed and will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her son, Roy Dumont Cummins; daughter, Robin Renee Cummins; granddaughter, Amy Bennett; parents, Raymond and Juanita Lanham; brothers, Adrian Griffith, Wilson Griffith and Raymond Lanham, Jr.

Elizabeth leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Jim Dickerson; children, John Cummins, Rosie Mueller, Ray (Lisa) Ward and Shane (Jeanne) Proffitt; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Jackie Griffin, Rachel Hampton and Carly Allen; brother, Glenn Wayne (Bonnie) Roby and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY, from 2pm-8pm with a celebration of Elizabeth's life beginning at 6pm.
