Theodore Henry Wilson

Theodore Henry "Ted" Wilson, 76, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2022. He was a 1963 graduate of New Albany High School, attended Indiana University in Bloomington, and went on to earn a business degree from Indiana University Southeast. Ted worked as an International Accountant for American Air Filter and retired as the CFO from Alrenco.

Ted's family always came first. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling the world with good friends. Ted liked working crossword puzzles, woodworking, telling jokes, reading, eating good food, and watching his grandchildren play sports.

He was born on December 12, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Joseph and Emilie (Thomas) Wilson. Ted is survived by his wife, Martha "Jane" Wilson; sons, Daniel Leftwich (Beth), Craig Wilson (Heather), and Jeffrey Wilson (Anna); grandchildren, Kyle Leftwich, Ryan Leftwich, James Wilson, and Rose Wilson; sister, Gerry Walts; and his furbaby, Toto.

Cremation was chosen, and a reception of family and friends will be from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ted's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association, or Amedysis Hospice.
