Davida Gwenn Cain, 42 (who are we kidding, 29,) of Louisville, KY passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2022.
Beautiful, the one word everyone used to describe Davida. She was a light in every room she walked into. She was gravity and pulled everyone near her. Davida sparkled, and she made you smile even if you didn't want to. Dee's spirit and spunk will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved her. Davida was a fiercely dedicated mom to her daughter, Allie, and her fur baby, Ellie. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill.
She was born August 18, 1979 in Louisville, KY to David Cain and Myra Nethery. She is preceded in death by grandparents Doris (MawMaw Jim), Dorothy Jean Ford (Elmer Lee Cain), and Betty and L. G. Coghill.
Davida is survived by her daughter Allie (Sam); parents David and Cathy; sisters Mandi (Chad), Christen (Tucker), Hilary, Hannah (Joe); mother, Myra; as well as several loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday March 19, 2022 from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, KY
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. The location of Davida's Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
A bike ride in Davida's memory will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 4 p.m. from the Family Worship Center to the Celebration of Life.
The family requests that contributions in Davida's memory be made to her daughter, Allie.
