Eddie "Slick" Bush

Eddie "Slick" Bush, 91, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, March 10, 2022. Eddie was a Bluegrass Musician from day one who loved to play music and spend time with his family. He was faithful to his church Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for over fifty years. He is a proud Marine Veteran and served our country with honor and courage.

He was born on September 21, 1930 in Sunfish, Kentucky to Kit and Glenna (Sanders) Bush. He is preceded in death by his Father, Kit Bush and Mother, Glenna Bush.

Eddie is survived by his loving Wife of 67 years, Anna Lorean Bush; Children, Martha (Myron) Henderson, Chip (Becca) Bush, and Mark Bush; Grandchildren, Joey (Stacy) Helvey, Jeff (Lora) Helvey, Tiffany (Kenny) Rodgers, Tim (Jen) Bush, Sara (Kenny) Zielberg, Megan (Karl) Baker, Sam (Sarah) Bush, Lacey (Cody) Dunn, and Samantha (Logan) Bush-Huffman; 13 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Gaynell Stith, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery - Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.

The family requests that contributions in Eddie's memory be made to Sisters of The Poor.
