Lisa Carter, 64, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.
She was born on November 30, 1957 in Louisville, Kentucky to Robert and Frances (Hurley) Snellen . Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Robin R. Snellen and her niece, Angel Snellen-Decker.
Lisa will always be remembered for the love she had for her children and family. She enjoyed bingo and was always willing to give to others. Lisa definitely left an impression on our world, and leaves behind many people that will hold onto the memories that they made with her.
Lisa is survived by her children, Michael Mooreland, Jody D. Snellen, Tara L. Mooreland and Alaina M. Mooreland, siblings, Sherry Lynn (James) Green and Danny W. (Elaine) Snellen, nieces and nephews, Stephanie (Jamil) Bivens, Tanya (Vincent) Snellen-Butler, Donnell Snellen, Jamie Snellen, April Snellen, Ashley Snellen and numerous grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). A service to celebrate her life will be at 6:00 pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
