Ronald "Ronnie" Hill

Ronald "Ronnie" Hill, 68, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Ronnie was a dedicated referee for KFOA and refereed every weekend for all ages of football for 36 years. He was an avid Virginia Tech fan and he was a third degree black belt for Olympic Karate Studio. Ronnie will truly be missed by anyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on August 6, 1953 in Virginia Beach, Virginia to Horace and Betty (Ford) Hill. He is preceded in death by his Father, Horace C. Hill, Jr. and Mother, Betty F. Hill.

Ronnie is survived by his loving Wife of 21 years, Donna Lynn Hill; Children, Larry (Lora) Briggs, Ronald Steven Hill, Jr., Gina (Travis) Salisbury, and Lucas S. Hill; Grandchildren, Tristan Briggs, Josh Hill, Porter Salisbury, Adrianna Hill, and Paisley Salisbury; Great-Grandchild, Reese Briggs; Brother, Mike (Linda) Hill, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Beth Haven Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
