Jerry Gale Logsdon

Jerry Gale Logsdon, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. Jerry was a loving son, father, grandfather, and friend. He was retired from Brown Forman's after 36 years of faithful service and was a member in the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local Union 89. He was a long time member of the Eagles Club. He was a dedicated University of Kentucky fan and never missed a game. His adventures had included time down at the lake, showing horses, going to Ferrier schooling, and a cowboy at heart. Jerry will truly be missed by anyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on May 1, 1944 in Brownsville, Kentucky to Carlos and Iva (Lancaster) Logsdon. He is preceded in death by his Father, Carlos Russell Logsdon.

Jerry is survived by his loving family, Mother, Iva Thelma Johnson; Son, Jeffrey Lee Logsdon; Granddaughters, Shelby Elizabeth Logsdon and Ryleigh Brooke Logsdon; Great-Grandson, Jesse Cole Foster as well as a host of extended family and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
