David Glenn Pitchford, 77, of Louisville, Kentucky, went home to be with God on Sunday, February 20, 2022. David Grew up in Louisville, graduated from Manual High School, and he was a retired mechanic. David will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was born on July 7, 1944 in Franklin, Kentucky to Francis and Mildred (Evans) Pitchford. He is preceded in death by his Father, Francis D. Pitchford, Sr. and Mother, Mildred V. Pitchford.
David is survived by his loving family, Wife, Julie Desurne; Daughter, Sherry Desurne; Grandchildren, Cody, Dustin, Brandon, and Alexis; Brothers; Larry and James Pitchford as well as a host of family and friends.
David has chosen cremation and the family will be having a memorial visitation at Vision of Hope Community Church on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
The family requests that contributions in David's memory be made to Vision of Hope Community Church (4205 Cane Run Road Louisville, KY 40216)
