Robert D. Meredith, 49, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, January 31, 2022.
He was born on March 19, 1972 in Louisville, Kentucky to Randall and Jean (Gordon) Meredith. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandmother, Sarah Gordon, uncle, Ray Gordon, and his aunt , Joyce Newnum.
Robert was a 1992 graduate of Allen County Scottsville High School. He was a former Sergeant at Zonetone Fire Department, formally worked for Bullitt County EMS and currently has worked for Louisville Paving. Robert was a member of the Masons and an avid UK fan.
Robert is survived by his loving aunts and uncles, Linda (David) Nelly, Rita (Kenny) Warner, Ruby (Wayne) Stone, Bobby Gordon. Robert is also survived by a host of cousins.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
The family requests that contributions in Robert's memory be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
