Stella Mae Hollaway, 65, of Louisville, KY passed away at home on Tues. Jan. 25, 2022.
Stella Mae was a woman of God, loving wife, wonderful mother, protective sister, magnificent grandmother, caring aunt and a beautiful person. She is preceeded in death, by her parents Stallard & Virgina Williams, and her loving sister Priscilla Brown. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband and friend Pastor Cecil Hollaway, her siblings: Brenda, Vivian (Michael), Robin (Glen), Stallard Jr., Janella, & Rita (Rudy). Her children: Andre, Baheerah, Michael (Anne), Sean (Jessica), Robert (April) and her baby boy Nicholas. Grandchildren: DeAndre, Mahari, Mikaili, Timia, Nicole, Michael, Bryce, Jansen, Kamyrn, Alexis, Timothy, Shalynn, Isabella, Elijah, Aidan, Robert Jr., Anthony, Ameera, Elianna, Gavin & Grace. Special grandchildren: Ryann Dow, Vernita (Sug) & Brandon who has gone on home to be with the Lord.
Stella Mae accepted Christ at the age of 7, and has been on fire for God since then. Stella Mae. These two words alone hold a lot of meaning. If you knew Stella Mae, you knew what she stood for. She believed in God and took care of her family. Many knew her as a no nonsense woman, but she was equally as loving & embracing. Her faithfulness was inspiring, and her presence was majestic. Faithful, loving, kind, forgiving: all these encompass the adjective of Stella Mae.
Truthfully, words could never describe how strong this woman was. She truly was a virtuous woman. The memories she left behind are priceless and will forever remain.
A Celebration of Stella Mae's life will be Sunday, January 30th, at 3:00 pm at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church (600 Bellewood Road, Louisville KY 40223). Flowers may be sent to 603 Plainview Ave, Louisville, KY 40223.
