Kenneth Leo Hattabaugh, Jr.

Kenneth Leo Hattabaugh, Jr., 88, of Clarksville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Kenneth was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, who proudly served during the Korean War. He was a member of the local VFW Post #1693 and enjoyed camping, fishing, walking in the park, and wintering in Florida with his wife. He could be found spending his spare time tinkering in the garage, keeping his lawn in perfect order, and socializing with the neighbors. Of all his past times, his favorite was being with his family.

He was born on October 3, 1933, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Kenneth L. Hattabaugh, Sr., and Carrie (Carpenter) Sibert.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Shirley Hattabaugh; children, Kenneth W. Hattabaugh, Kelly (Randy) Cotner, and Kris (Karla) Hattabaugh, Sr.; grandchildren, Khara (Thomas) O'Neil, Cyndi Hattabaugh, Patricia Hattabaugh, and Kris Hattabaugh II; and many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with burial and military honors to follow at Walnut Ridge Cemetery in Jeffersonville.

The family requests that masks be worn by all visitors attending the visitation and service.
