Carolyn Davis Miller
86, passed away January 18, 2022 with her husband of 51 years, Phil Miller, at her side.
She was born to William and Letha (Randolph) Davis in Clinton, Indiana and enjoyed her childhood in Montezuma, Indiana. She was the youngest of ten children.
After joining the Indiana Bell Telephone Company, she went on to positions in the South Central Bell Company, where she became a manager, in Louisville, Kentucky. She then joined the AT&T Company as a manager and a special projects coordinator prior to her retirement. She also worked at WAVE TV; before forming a communications-consulting firm.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening and traveling in Kentucky and Indiana.
She volunteered at several Telephone Pioneers charitable functions and spent some years as a volunteer teacher in the Adult Reading Program. Dare to Care Food Bank, Disabled American Veterans and Water With Blessings were among her favorite charities.
Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife and will be greatly missed by her husband and all that knew her.
There will be a private family memorial service at a later date.
Her husband and family wish to thank all of the Hosparus personnel who cared for her as well as the many caregivers and friends who gave her comfort.
