David Lee Thompson

David Lee Thompson, 66, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022. He retired from Jeff Boat in 2017. David enjoyed building model cars and going on his daily walks. He loved his grandkids and making others smile. David is as free as a bird now.

He was born on April 12, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late David F. and Elnora (Brear) Thompson. David is survived by his children, Brittany Thompson-Minton (Brent), Jeremy Thompson; grandchildren, Eric, Jayden, Josie, Jacie, Shelbie, Zack, CJ, Kynlee; sister, Debbie McRae (Eddie); former wife and life-long friend, Linda Thompson; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) with his funeral service taking place at 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow according to David's wishes.
