William Thomas Edison was born on June 10, 1928 in Franklin, Kentucky, and passed away on January 11, 2022 in Louisville, Kentucky at the age of 93. William "Bill" Edison lived a long, healthy life. He knew how to have a good time and had an infectious personality. Bill was the life of the party. After High-School, Bill served his country during World War II. After serving in the Army, he married Pauline Taylor and settled down in Louisville, Kentucky where he ran a successful business and raised his family. Bill was a member of the American Legion Peter Salem Post 45, where he celebrated life with a host of close friends and acquaintances. During his prosperous life, Bill shared a close relationship with his siblings and extended family.
Bill is survived by his three Daughters, Deborah Williams, Prevonne Edison-Baulding, and Stacey Edison-Bryson, Grandchildren, Kamecca Rawlings, Nyeesha Waters, Domini Williams, Pauline Hulbert, James Baulding, Maciel Underwood, Mallory Bryson, Edison Pleasants, and Evan Bryson. Bill also leaves behind to cherish his memory 11 Great Grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Friends, and Extended Family.
Bill was preceded in death by his Wife, Pauline Edison, Son, Arthur "Buddy" Edison, Daughter, Toni Underwood, Parents, Charles & Myrtle Edison, Siblings, Luther Edison, Earl Edison, Ernest Edison, Charles Edison, Guinnetta Curd, and Ancenetta Viers.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (2501 North Dixie Highway, Radcliff).
