Alan Dale Bohannon, 61, of Hardinsburg, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, January 9, 2022. Alan was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, gardening, and looking for arrow heads. In his younger years, Alan enjoyed playing music on the guitar with the Out of Hand Band.
He was born on June 11, 1960 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Robert and Phyllis (Waltman) Bohannon. Along with his parents, Alan is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Bohannon.
Alan is survived by his loving wife, Diana Jeffries; children, Amy McDowell and Christopher Bohannon; grandchildren, Payton McDowell and Declan Campbell; and step-children, Danielle Stevens and Travis Peel.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Friday, January 21, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany, (3309 Ballard Lane). Cremation was chosen in regards to Alan's wishes.
The family requests that contributions in Alan's memory be made to Kosair Charities.
