Larry Ray Burchett

Larry Ray Burchett, age 76 of Louisville, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021. He was a Navy Veteran. He was employed with the Robley Rex VA Hospital for over 20 years and worked part-time at his member church of Southeast Christian Church where he also volunteered. He loved camping and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Manus Burchett and Mary Frances Douglas Burchett Hinkle; and brothers, Harry Kay Burchett and Don Burchett.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Loray Burchett; children, Leah Fishers (Travis), Lena Huff, Larry Burchett, Jr. (Julie), Del Burchett (Riannon); step-daughter, Tina Willis (Derrick); grandchildren, Mya Burchett, Farin Burchett and Britton Fisher; sister, Lenora Weller (Donald); and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, East Louisville Chapel, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40243, with a celebration of Larry's life to follow at 12 pm there. Burial will follow in Cave Hill Cemetery.
