Vickie Lynn (Muncy) Jacobs, 65, of Central, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. She was a 1974 graduate of New Albany High School and earned a degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Ivy Tech Community College. Vickie was an avid fan of IU Basketball. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and decorating for the holidays.
She was born on March 6, 1956, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Daniel and Archlein (Hook) Muncy. Vickie is survived by her husband, David Jacobs; children, Amanda Orman (Gary), Amy Nichols (Ryan), and Adam Wise (Brandie); sister, Carmen Muncy Stilger; grandchildren that she loved deeply, Jordan, Sid, Gavin, Kayleigh, Norah, Malakai, and Jaxson; nephew, Zachary Stilger; and niece, Olivia Housier (Jared).
Cremation was chosen and Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, December 27, 2021, at Trinity Assembly of God Church (500 Shiloh Road SW, Corydon, IN 47112) with her memorial service taking place at 3:00 p.m.
