Andrew Thomas Edlin, 32, of Elizabeth, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Andrew was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed golfing and fishing.
He was born on August 14, 1989, in New Albany, Indiana, to Robert Edlin and the late Angela Hampton. Along with his mother, Andrew is preceded in death by his grandparents, Patrick and Shirley Edlin and Johnny Hampton.
Along with his father, Andrew is survived by his daughter, Layla Edlin; stepmother, Billie Edlin; brothers, Tyler (Vivian) Edlin and Dustin Hampton; nephew, Harrison Edlin; niece, Aariyah Reece; grandmother, Patricia Hampton; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions-New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). His Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 20, 2021, at the funeral home with cremation to follow according to Andrew's wishes. He will be laid to rest at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.
The family requests that contributions in Andrew's memory be made to the American Cancer Society.
