Cameron Mitchell Gaines, Sr

Cameron Mitchell "Big Cam" Gaines, Sr, was born on March 17, 1967 in Louisville, KY, to the late Robert Lee and Earlene White Gaines, Sr. God saw fit to call one of his angels home. He worked at Roll Forming for 1 year. He was a huge sports fan of our very own Louisville Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys. Cameron was a great friend and was big on family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cameron leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Cameron Gaines, Jr, Laquita (Brandon) Brown, Cayon Noonan and Shacamera "Teondre" Williams; grandchildren, Treshawn, Brandon Jr, Jordyn, Teonna and Samiir; special friend, Debbie Ford; brothers, James (Joann) Gaines and Robert Gaines; sisters, Sabrina Gaines, Denise Gaines, Cynthia Taylor and Teresa Shed and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Star Hope Baptist Church, 5009 E. Indian Trail, Louisville, KY, from 10am-12pm with a celebration of Cameron's life beginning at 12pm.

Cameron will be laid to rest at Green Meadows, 3800 Shanks Lane, Louisville, KY.
