Charles Edward Williams, 82, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
Charles was a Cincinnati Red's baseball fan, an avid card player and enjoyed his monthly breakfast with his trucking buddies. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
He was born on April 30, 1939 in Lexington, Kentucky to John and Margaret (Hart) Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents; 1st wife, Bettye Williams; son, James Doty Williams; 3 brothers, Robert, Bill & Johnny; sister, Mary.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Maureen A. Williams; daughter, Jennie L. (Bryan) Stout; daughter, Kimberly J. (Jim) Lincoln; step-son, Chris (Jona) Thomas; 3 grandchildren, Jared (Whitney) Stout, Eryn Stout, Mary Elizabeth Lincoln; 2 step-grandchildren, Amanda (Nick) Patterson, David Lincoln; 3 step-great grandchildren, Kenny, Shayla, Kori Patterson; brother, David Williams; sister, Jean Jolly; his dog that he adored, Anna; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Memorial Gathering will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremation, Funerals & Receptions-East Louisville Chapel, (235 Juneau Dr.). Private Inurnment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Lexington, KY.
The family requests that contributions in Charles's memory be made to Jefferson County Humane Society.
