Angie Bartee

Angela "Angie" Denise Bartee, born on December 5, 1966 in Louisville, Kentucky to Patricia Thomas and Charlie Bartee. Angela was called home to be with the Lord on November 6, 2021.

Angie is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Bartee, sister, Charlene Bartee, step-brother, Willie (June) Hollenquest, Jr., aunt, Edna V. Thomas, and grandmothers, Edna M. Thomas and Annie Taylor.

Angie enjoyed life to the fullest, was always smiling, and she never met a stranger. Angie was a organ donor and her eye tissue will go on to give the gift of sight to someone in need.

Angie was a devoted daughter, sister, and freind. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Patricia Hollenquest and stepfather, Perry Hollenquest of Louisville, Kentucky. She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Detra (Vincent) Moore, Rhonda Harrison, Vernita Gibbons-Cotto, Bernita Gibbons, step-sister, Sheryl Hollenquest, brother, Daymon Phipps, step-brother, Lamont (Regina) Hollenquest all of Louisville, Kentucky, and six nieces and nephews, three great nieces and nephews, cousins, family, and freinds.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). The family will be celebrating her life with family and friends at 3:00 pm on Saturday, at the funeral home.
