Ronnie Lee Grimes Sr., 74, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Ronnie was a loving dad, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a hard worker spending over 40 years at Kinergy Corp.
He was born on December 15, 1946 in Louisville, Kentucky to James and Edna (Lipsey) Grimes. He is preceded in death by his father, James Grimes, mother, Edna Wright, son, Ronnie Grimes, Jr., 1 grandson, and sister, Doris Jean Sheldon.
Ronnie is survived by his loving family, sons, David W. (Jessica) Grimes and Scott Grimes; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. As well as a host of family and friends to cherish his loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy) with burial at 12 pm to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky.
